Welcome to Dick Dohertys Beantown Boston Comedy Vault- Located in a renovated Bank with a 12-foot Vault door as backdrop and comedy murals on the walls of famous Boston Comedians and Boston Landmarks and Locations. This comedy club is Small, Intimate and Special. It is open Seven Nights A Week, touted as -Bostons Most Fun Comedy Club for over 23 years. Comedians Dane Cook and Robert Kelly played this club every Friday for One and a half years. Very Reasonable prices on Bostons Best Pub Grub We are inside Remingtons Restaurant at 124 Boylston Street between the Gypsy Bar and The Alley. Directly Across from Boston Common and Diagonal to the Boylston T-Stop on the Green Line. Reservations are Recommended, Food and Drink Available during the show. Age is Eighteen and older-Great Night of Comedy for College Incoming and their parents since we are located beneath and Adjacent to Emerson College, Newbury College, New England College of Law and Suffolk University Law School in the heart of the Theater District.
Dick Doherty has been an Entertainer/Comedian all of his life and has had many clubs throughout New England with some larger than the Boston Comedy Vault and some smaller. The Boston Comedy Vault is 85 seats, which he believes is the perfect size. He presents National and Local Headliners and the very best of the next set of up and coming National Stars to come out of Boston. Bill Burr, Joe Rogan, Tom Cotter, Greg Fitzsimmons and of course Dane Cook and Robert Kelly and so many more started their careers here. He is very proud of what he does here. On Sunday Evening we have Bostons Longest Running Comedy Open Mic Night at 9pm. Monday through Thursday we have the All Star Comedy Showcase Shows Featuring Mitch Stinson, Jim Lauletta, Paul Nardizzi and Mike Whitman hosting their own Boston Comedy Extravaganzas at 8:30pm each evening. Friday and Saturday we have shows at 9pm and 8 and 10:15 respectively and are close to all the action at The Estate, The Suite, The Lodge, The Gypsy Bar or any of the great dance clubs around us.
